The Cervelo story - it's all about building better bikes.

Today, Cervélo continues to revolutionize the industry through our advanced aerodynamics engineering and our attention to strength standards. We became the first bicycle company to incorporate a realistic and precise rider into our aerodynamic research when we developed DZ, our easy to work with mannequin. In our Project California facility, we have developed a number of new industry standards including BBright™ which radically improves bottom bracket stiffness, and the 1 3/8” tapered steerer tube which gives just the right amount of stiffness while simultaneously increasing comfort and safety. We continue to make our bicycles faster, stronger and more comfortable and we have no plans to rest.

As always, it remains important for us to stay connected with all levels of the sport and use the lessons learned to help shape our designs. We are excited by our ongoing relationships with Team Garmin-Cervélo and teamTBB, as they allow us to continue to work closely with professional and development athletes and ensure that our bicycles meet the highest expectations. In 2011, Johan Van Summeren attacked to win Paris-Roubaix, bringing Cervélos palmarés in this race to six podium spots in six starts. In the 2010 Kona Ironman, a whopping 355 athletes chose to compete on Cervélo bicycles, demonstrating that our triathlon bikes remain the most popular choice for comfort and performance. In addition to these victories, Cervélo bicycles also carried Thor Hushovd to victory in the 2010 UCI World Road Championship, Emma Pooley to victory in the 2010 UCI World Time Trial Championships and Caroline Steffen to victory at the 2011 European Ironman Championships.
